Alaskan Malamute Dog Breeders Pictures Collections
The Alaskan Malamute excels at hauling heavy burdens over great distances in brutal conditions, and its construction is reliable with such use. The long body is mighty and well muscled all through, hefty boned with a straight back and very strong legs; large feet furthermore help the dog to plod through snow. The head and muzzle are large, very wide and deep. The ears are set wide apart on the skull, small, triangular and circular. The eyes are dark, intermediate sized and almond formed, and give the dog a kind, endearing expression. The Alaskan Malamute’s outside outside garment is medium extent, coarse and thick, and left untrimmed in display dogs. The undercoat is dense and woolly. The outer garment can be solid white, but it is more widespread for white to be the predominant color with diverse shading of gray, black, sable or red. The face usually has a white mask or blaze. The Alaskan Malamute is distinctly wolf-like in appearance.
